Our Experience

Through the years have allowed us to branch out into different areas of mental health problems, learning disabilities and both physical and mental impairments. We have established good relationships with external agencies such as the local authority, community mental health teams and those working in the Health sector. Here at WILS we believe that multi-agency working is imperative in providing all the resources our service users need to reach the outcomes they wish to achieve.

Our Aims

To enable and empower service users to move towards independence

To provide an excellent standard of support which is inclusive and supports people to lead 'ordinary' lives

Provide a person centered support programme

For service users to make positive choices and lead a happy, healthy and fulfilled lifestyle.

To empower service users to make informed choices and exercise as much control as possible, to identify and address needs and actively seek to manage risk which does not restrict them or is risk averse.

How We Achieve These Aims

By working to an individual plan of support that has been agreed with the service user.

By having risk assessments in place which are regularly reviewed and cover positive risk taking.

By treating all service users with dignity and respect.

By supporting service users to access all community and health related services which are available to them.

By ensuring all support delivered is provided by trained and competent staff who uphold the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support workers.
